H&H Eco Systems, Inc.

Purpose and Objectives

H&H Eco Systems, a Northwest Environmental Company, specializes in the reclamation of contaminated soils and operates on a national and international level.
The company focuses on two objectives when remediating soils: first, to supply the soil with a balanced macro/micro-nutrient blend that is unique to that soil, and second, to provide thorough mixing of the contaminated media with any added amendments using its patented Microenfractionation® system. Given these two objectives, H&H Eco Systems has a proven record of success. H&H's personnel have a broad knowledge base from which to work…from soils and agricultural practices, to animals and genetics, nutrition and plants - and problem solving. During the past decade, H&H has reached further into other scientific disciplines - fisheries, forestry, waterways, ecology, chemistry, physics and microbiology - to further develop the "base of operations" from which problems of the soil can be resolved.

MARKETS:

H&H Eco Systems has implemented soil remediation technology successfully throughout the United States as well as in Canada, Mexico and Ireland. In 1997, a Canadian corporation purchased the rights to utilize H&H's technology throughout Canada; a Canadian partnership continues with a new company having purchased those rights in 2003. Presently, H&H Eco Systems, Inc. is devoting resources towards expanding its presence in International markets.

Description of Capabilities:

H&H specializes, worldwide, in biologically cleaning contaminated soils. H&H Eco Systems' technology includes a complete feeding system for indigenous bacteria and a mechanical system, the Microenfractionator®, which can homogenize contaminant, soil, chemical and biological amendments to between 85-95%.

Our Ex Situ soil remediation specialists utilize the Microenfractionator® with a variety of remediation technologies to generate Clean Dirt®. The Microenfractionator® was developed to mix or "microenfractionate" soils ranging from sand to heavy clay. This unit can be used to incorporate both liquid and dry amendments into the soil matrix as it homogenizes and eliminates hot spots of contamination.

Soils contaminates treated include:

  • Petroleum/Long Chain Hydrocarbons
  • Creosote/Coal Tar/PCP
  • PAH's
  • DDT and other chlorinated pesticides
  • Nitrated compounds (TNT and RDX)
  • Heavy metals
  • PCE and TCE
